The Mitacs Globalink Research Internship is a competitive initiative for international undergraduates from Australia, Brazil, France, India, Germany, Mexico, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia. From May to September of each year, top-ranked applicants participate in a 12-week research internship under the supervision of Canadian university faculty members in a variety of academic disciplines, from science, engineering and mathematics to the humanities and social sciences.
Mitcats Globalink Research Internship are currently available at 45 universities across Canada.
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is the largest funding organisation in the world supporting the international exchange of students and scholars. Since it was founded in 1992, more than 1.5 million scholars in Germany and abroad have received DAAD funding.
The selected students would work with a German faculty during the course of the internship. They would also be required to submit a report at the end of the internship.

It provides experiential learning and allow you to hone your competencies so that you stay ahead of the curve and gain a foothold in the industry. These can take place either during vacation or term.
Undergraduates from School of Computing, Faculty of Engineering, Accountancy Department, Food Science & Technology Department and Pharmacy Department have to complete an internship as part of their graduation requirement.
